Thought I would share my recipe for the softest and chewy orangy cookies ever. Enjoy!
80g caster sugar
80g brown sugar
150g unsalted butter (softened)
2 tsp vanilla extract
225g plain flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 packet of terrys chocolate orange or 125g of terrys chocolate orange
First beat together both sugars and the butter.
Once mixed together add the egg and vanilla into the bowl and mix them with the sugar mix.
Next sift the baking powder and plain flour into the bowl then mix.
Finally break the terrys chocolate orange into tiny pieces and mix them into the mixture.
Turn the oven on to 190c and prep two baking trays with baking parchment.
Take the mixture and divide into 12 balls and place the balls onto the two trays.
Put the baking trays into the oven for 10minutes.
Take out the cookies after 10minutes. The cookies will still be soft but will harden up slightly when they have cooled down.
Once cooled down eat and enjoy these sort of festive tasty bakes!
