Hello Abi here! I thought I would address an important subject that occurs within the Endometriosis community. Endometriosis is a condition where the tissue that lines the womb (endometrium) is found outside the womb, such as in the ovaries and fallopian tubes.
I suffer with Endometriosis and within the community I witness many women endorsing such a restricted diet or a vegan diet. I am not saying you shouldn’t try the diets you are welcome to try them but we already have an delicate body restricting your diet heavily is not healthy. Additionally I think sufferers forget that every endo sufferers pain is different and so is their reaction to different food. For example I have tried to eat more vegetarian food but have got diarrhea (sorry for the tmi) eating certain veg and felt no reaction to meat. In the end there is no scientific proof that the diet works so by all means try the diet but it will not work for everyone and you must replace the missing nutrients. I think the best diet for endometriosis sufferers is eating healthy and cutting out your personal trigger food.
